TO HELP PEOPLE AT RISK OF FALLS
If you, or someone you know, has had a fall or is
unsteady on their feet, then there is a support
service available in the Fenland area. This specially
designed service is for older people living in the
Fenland area who have had a fall or feel unsteady
on their feet. Fenland Falls Prevention Service is
based at Doddington Community Hub and is for
anyone who:
• lives in the Fenland area (Manea, Doddington,
Chatteris, March, Wimblington, Ramsey, and
other surrounding villages) villages and towns. Having the service in Doddington
• has had a fall or feels unsteady on their feet means that we are in the community which is easier
• is 65+ to get to than a trip into a city. We hope the classes
will help to give people more independence and
• lives independently confidence, reduce worry about falling and give people
• is able to get to Doddington Community Hub more strength and stability.”
People will start with an assessment before joining
classes to help improve their strength and balance. People can refer themselves into the service via
