      FALLS PREVENTION SERVICE


      AT DODDINGTON COMMUNITY HUB


      TO HELP PEOPLE AT RISK OF FALLS




      If you, or someone you know, has had a fall or is
      unsteady  on  their  feet, then  there  is  a support
      service available in the Fenland area. This specially
      designed service is for older people living in the
      Fenland area who have had a fall or feel unsteady
      on their feet. Fenland Falls Prevention Service is
      based at Doddington Community Hub and is for
      anyone who:
      •  lives in the Fenland area (Manea, Doddington,
        Chatteris, March, Wimblington, Ramsey, and
        other surrounding villages)         villages and towns. Having the service in Doddington
      •  has had a fall or feels unsteady on their feet  means that we are in the community which is easier
      •  is 65+                             to get to than a trip into a city. We hope the classes
                                            will help to give people more independence and
      •  lives independently                confidence, reduce worry about falling and give people
      •  is able to get to Doddington Community Hub  more strength and stability.”
      People will start with an assessment before joining
      classes to help improve their strength and balance.   People can refer themselves into the service via
