HAZEL THE GUIDE DOG PUPPY
Well Frankie's gone to school and, from the
Facebook pages, he’s having a good time playing
with all the other trainees at Guide Dog School.
However, I am now on my own and finding out
that mucking around doesn’t muster a treat.
I am still very much on a learning curve, having
come to Myriam (Mum) later than usual I am
finding it harder to get it right and concentrate.
But people say I’m lovely, so I get away with
that little mischievous side of me - however
Mum is reining me in.
We were in Shrewsbury for a week and saw and
went all over the place - steam trains, buses,
shops and rural museums. People like to stop
and ask about me because I am not the usual
guide dog puppy being a Labradoodle. I have
been bred for people with allergies as I don’t
I miss my pal, Frankie
moult as much but I have to be brushed more
often as my hair is thick and curly.
I must be getting better but Mum still calls me
Hazelnut! I do try but it’s not easy as I’m only
7 months old. I am feeling more confident the
more I do, but I can’t keep my paws to myself
when she goes out, so I do get into trouble but
I can’t help it as I’m just too inquisitive. Before
Frankie left, we had a party while Mum was out.
Out and about – training It involved a bottle of squash, a few cans and
biscuits. Unfortunately, we had left the evidence
in the garden – oops!
Till next time
I do try to
Hazel behave! x
