FRANKIE THE GUIDE DOG PUPPY

      Hello Maneans
It will soon be time for me to go - maybe April
/May. I’ve got an appointment at the vets first
apparently. But we have a new apprentice in the
house - she is called Hazel – a 4-months old
Labradoodle. She looks like a cross between a
shaggy retriever but with a terrier face. She’s
nice though and we have lots of play time sort-
      ing out the toy box.
We have a new apprentice in
the house - she is called Hazel I look very wise
can fall asleep sometimes when the kids read to
her, so her dad has to explain that she is listen-
ing but had to close her eyes!
With so little time left before I go, we’re brush-
ing up on some of the things I have learnt like:
° waiting at an open door until I am told to go
                                               through
° crossing the road and putting my front paws
on the kerb to let mum know that there is
                                               a step
Hazel ° and my favourite - a chin rest (ear tickle
Before Hazel came, I went on holiday with mum time) or find the seat
and my friend Suzi who’s an Ambassador Dog There's so much to remember!
for Guide Dogs, which means she can help out Paws for now
with fundraising and show us pups what to do.
She was a pup in training but she wasn’t well, so Frankie
she was taken off the programme, but her dad Wish me luck
                                                                    everyone x
put her up to be a therapy dog. She now goes
into schools and old people’s homes to let them
pet her or let the children read to her. But she

Me and my friend Suzi Apparently it's called a Mute Swan!
