The documents within the Manea Archive
& Library will again be on display at this
      year’s Gala.
Few donations of material for inclusion in
the Library have been received this last
year and very few new documents have
been seen from which to extract Manea
      History.
With the help of Wendy Aldridge ‘work’
has started to extract information from
the various publications now in the Archive
      Library; specifically the businesses and
clubs and groups that had been run in the
village over the years. This is a big task
which will take some time, possibly years,
      to complete.
The businesses found in the Manea Gala
Programmes have been extracted and the
summary of these can be found on one of
the display boards on show at the Gala.
The Project would like to create a list of
other documents and items of memorabilia Archive Cupboard
which exist and are in the care of members
      of the community.
