We have been welcoming new people to our weekly gatherings and regularly have 20+
people popping in between the times of 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.
We offer a variety of refreshments and on many occasions homemade sausage rolls,
cakes, even cheesecake, are brought in by our members (and there is seldom any left!).
Due to the overwhelming support from our community, we are able to reduce the
attendance contribution to £1 per person until further notice. These funds help to cover
the hiring of the hall, refreshments and insurance.
The Group has decided that it will hold a charity event during their regular weekly sessions
twice a year. Earlier, in June, there was a Macmillan coffee morning which raised £321.18
and there is another event in aid of Multiple Sclerosis planned for Wednesday 9th October.
Note: For anyone disabled or needing level access the doors to the main hall will be open
thus avoiding the gravel and small doorstep to the back room.
