of harvest I can access a lot more
areas, and reed cutting can take
place in preparation for the annual
maintenance by a 360 machine.
This is a period I enjoy, as I have a
few weeks with a colleague to talk
to on a daily basis.

The cycle of an IDB (Internal Drainage
Boards) year gently trundles on and,
with my ever-faithful terrier (Bill), so
do I.
