PRIMARY SCHOOL
New plans for 2024
Starting in May 2024 there will be an extension to the village school of four new classrooms,
to cater for the increase in Primary School age children expected in the village over the
course of the next few years. In addition, there will be an extension to the preschool to
enable more children to attend our preschool setting and an extension to the current hall.
We are also adapting one of our current classrooms into a space for sensory work for
children with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities to access. Please see a diagram
of the new proposed extension of our school.

Opportunities exist for new school governors at Manea Community
Primary School, could this be you?
Governors are responsible for overseeing the management side of the school: strategy,
policy and staffing. They enable the school to run as effectively as possible, working
alongside senior leaders and supporting teachers to provide excellent education for the
children.
Governors bring a range of skills and expertise to the governing board and schools benefit
greatly from working with skilled volunteers, such as experience of finance, property
management and HR.
This is an exciting time for Manea Community Primary School with the new building
development scheduled to begin in May 2024. If you would like to be part of the School
and Governing Team or would like more information please contact:
