As the Queen’s first great grandson, he is
third in line to the throne and it is the first
occasion, since the reign of Queen Victoria,
that three generations of direct heirs to the
British throne were alive at the same time.

The Death of Prince Philip 2021

On 9th April 2021, the Queen’s husband
of 73 years, died at the age of 99. For
over 50 years, the Prince had supported
his wife in her royal duties and took on
many obligations of his own. His funeral
was held on 17th April 2021 amidst
Covid restrictions, so only 30 guests were
invited to the funeral. Who will forget the
haunting image of the Queen sitting alone Don’t forget our extra
in St George’s Chapel in Windsor, wearing
a black facemask and looking very isolated Bank Holiday!
