Information Sessions
The Alzheimer’s Society in Cambridgeshire offers a range of virtual information
and peer support sessions. Each session is two hours long and looks at aspects of
dementia and caring.
All About Dementia covers all types of dementia and how it impacts on everyday life. We
cover communication, behaviours, memory and relationships. As well as information
and support, from our team of Dementia Advisers, the attendees learn from each
other and discuss what has worked for them.
Carers’ Emotional Health and Wellbeing examines the impact of caring and goes on to
explore the importance of carers looking after themselves and how to achieve this.
Respite and Care in the Community looks at all types of respite and how it is paid for.
Residential Care and Paying for Care investigates choosing a care home and who pays
for care.
