NEW TIGER BUS ROUTES Some additional information, provided by Cllr Janet O’Keefe: MANEA MATTERS
FOR CAMBRIDGESHIRE AND PETERBOROUGH Manea now benefits from two new Tiger bus services, giving residents more flexible and
reliable travel options.
Tiger on Demand is a bookable service running Monday to Saturday, 06:30–19:00, across
Manea, March, Chatteris and nearby villages. Journeys can be booked:
• Via the app (Google Play / App Store)
• By phone: 01480 595 440 (Mon–Sat, 06:00–19:30)
• Online through the Tiger on Demand website
You can book up to 48 hours in advance. Fares are £2.50 for adults, £1 for under-25s with
a Tiger Pass, and free with a concessionary bus pass.
The new Tiger 7 is a fixed hourly route linking Wisbech and Chatteris via Manea and
Christchurch. Buses leave Wisbech Horse Fair every hour from 06:15 until 20:15, stopping
in Manea about 20 minutes later, and reaching Chatteris shortly after. Return journeys run
hourly from Chatteris East Park Street between 07:40 and 21:40, again stopping in Manea.
Together, Tiger on Demand and the Tiger 7 provide Manea with both flexibility and
reliability: the choice of booking a journey to suit your needs, or using a regular timetable
for everyday travel.
Residents under 25 are encouraged to apply for the Tiger Pass, which gives travel for just
£1 per journey.
With these services, Manea has stronger, more affordable transport links to neighbouring
towns than ever before.
