NEW TIGER BUS ROUTES

FOR CAMBRIDGESHIRE AND PETERBOROUGH

Seven brand-new Tiger bus routes launched on 27th May by the Cambridgeshire and
Peterborough Combined Authority, improving public transport across the region with
faster, more frequent services and better connections for our communities.
Great news for Manea residents: The new Tiger 7 route brings hourly, all-day bus travel
connecting you to Wisbech and Chatteris, with early starts and late returns.
Here's a quick overview of all the new routes:
• Tiger 1 (Huntingdon - Cambridge) – A fast, hourly link into the city via Fenstanton,
Swavesey and Longstanton. Ideal for commuters, students and residents seeking a
quick and direct connection.
• Tiger 2 (Newmarket P&R - Madingley P&R) & Tiger 3 (Fulbourn - Grantchester) – These
new services link key sites around Cambridge including Addenbrooke’s, sixth forms and
colleges, science parks and hospitals - avoiding city centre traffic.
• Tiger 4 (Newmarket - Addenbrooke’s) & Tiger 5 (Soham - Cambridge) – Serving East
Cambridgeshire, these rural routes improve access to Cambridge from Fulbourn,
Burwell, Swaffham and Soham.
• Tiger 7 (Wisbech - Chatteris) – Hourly buses connect underserved Fenland villages like
Manea and Christchurch, running early morning to late evening.
• Tiger 12 (Longstanton P&R - Sutton) – A new rural route linking Sutton, Earith and
Willingham to the guided Busway at Longstanton, perfect for onward travel into
Cambridge.
