We Need Your Help

The Manea Educational Foundation Trust was established before the 1870s since
which time it has supported many of our village youths by way of grants towards
the costs of further education whether it be College, University, Apprenticeships,
or Vocational courses; it is just possible that some of you reading this may well

have received a grant.
Many people over the years have supported our cause as members of the
Foundation committee but we are now low on members, with just five members
we could do with you joining us please, we will welcome members from all ages

of our community.
Grants are paid out of interest received from a small legacy fund, however,
when interest rates are low, and costs of education/living continue to rise it is

becoming more difficult to offer grants that are meaningful.
To help boost these grants the Foundation would welcome
donations, to be added to the fund, from members of
our community, philanthropists, bequests, and/or
businesses. As the Foundation is a registered charity
with HMRC, under Charity reference NI00685, most
businesses will be able to offset any contribution
against their tax liability.
