VILLAGE SOCIAL ACTIVITY
Since the last edition of Manea Matters
things have moved forward and the Manea
Social Group has been able to start following
a successful grant application to the Parish
Council, which provided the ‘seed’ funding.
A further grant from the Healthy Fenland
Project has also been secured.
The first WEEKLY session was held on
Wednesday 25th October in the Back
Room of the Village Hall between 10am
and 2pm and was attended by a total of 14
villagers at some point during these times.
Weekly sessions, on Wednesdays will now
continue indefinitely …

It’s early days, and there are still things
that need to be sorted out, but it has been
a positive start.
