Volunteering Opportunity
at RSPB Ouse Washes, Welches Dam
We are looking for a small team of enthusiastic and organised volunteers
to help look after our visitor facilities, mainly at weekends and bank
holidays, to provide cover for RSPB staff.
Main duties to include opening and closing the visitor centre ensuring it is
clean, tidy and stocked up.
Other duties to include some general gardening (with the potential of
developing a wildlife garden), hide cleaning, checking the visitor toilets are
clean and serviceable, recording the weather and river level and keeping
the bird feeders topped up and cleaned regularly.
Reasonable expenses can be reimbursed.
