LADIES’ CLUB

s you will have read on the opposite
page, after running for many years,
AManea WI was sadly disbanded
earlier this year. As well as providing a full
programme of activities and speakers, the
WI meetings also gave the ladies of Manea
the opportunity to meet and chat once a
month over a cup of tea or coffee.

We plan to meet over the summer and will
continue into the autumn if the sessions
are well supported. We met again in June
and future dates are July 21st and August
18th. We look forward to seeing you there!

The idea of the Third Thursday Ladies’ Club
was started after a conservation at the Café
@no29 between some ex-WI members,
who suggested that it would be good to be
able to maintain the social aspects of the
meetings in a more casual way.

The Third Thursday Ladies’ Club met
for the first time on Thursday May 19th
from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at Cafe@No29
– everyone is welcome, there is no set
agenda - just a place to meet with old
friends or make new ones over coffee and
cake, cocktails or a glass or two of wine!
The garden will be open for ladies who wish
to sit outside or those who wish to bring
their dogs with them. There is no need to
book - just turn up!
