Goodbye and Thank You
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my fellow Committee Members who have decided, purely
coincidentally, to move on to new challenges within the community.
A big thank you to Pete Townrow, my fellow Chair who has been a member for nine years and, like
me, held various positions along the way. In recent years, he has very methodically made sure that
our volunteer Deliverers receive their copies to distribute throughout the village as well as keeping
in touch with the vast number of clubs and organisations we are so lucky to have. Jan Bradford, our
Treasurer, has kept our advertising income and publishing expenditure spot on - staying in touch with
each advertiser along the way and keeping a very close eye on Facebook too, for anything of interest
for us to include. Finally, Steve Wright who has enjoyed gathering information for, and writing articles
about, events and people within the village – as well as taking photographs, including a memorable
collage of Manea Gala 2019.
I know you would want to join me in thanking all three of them for their commitment and hard work.
Dianne Rowe, Co-Chair Manea Matters
