At our January meeting the Council
approved its budget submission. In 25-
26 we have set aside significant funding
for improved CCTV in some of our open
spaces and new speeding indicator signs.
We are also continuing with the additional
investment in the Pit and Orchard area
and have allocated the final installment
of the funding needed to complete the
replacement of our concrete lamp posts.
Some lights have already been replaced
but I hope that the upgrade work will now
accelerate in the coming months.
